Ohio Made Candy Cane History!

In 1847 August Imgard decorated his Christmas tree with paper ornaments and candy canes. He was the 1st to document the use. Wooster, Ohio!

Candy canes didn't get their red stripes of peppermint until the 1900's.

Invented in 1670. They were purely sugar bent like shepherd's hooks.

In the 1950's candy canes became available for mass production. A staple for the season ever since!
