As a child my baby brother loved his music box. He would say, "Bear" and before the song ended, would be fast asleep.

Music boxes were invented in the late 18th in Switzerland. It was the first time a device successfully played music .

These first boxes were designed to play music using flat metal prongs that were plucked by a revolving metal cylinder.
