Flowers: The Victorian Text Message

There's plenty to say about the Victorian culture. It was definitely different!

Bouquets held secret messages in the blooms received. A flower sent could make or break you. It was the texting of the era.

Some bouquets were good

Bluebells meant kindness.

Rosemary for remembrance.

Tulips for passion,

Then the "not so good" bouquets.

Aloe meant bitterness.

Rhododendron was danger .

Pomegranates stood for conceit.

It's a good thing we have texting today!

Until Tomorrow! Smile On!
